AQUAFIN WATER PROOFING SOLUTION INVESTIGATION

Investigating a class action against AQUAFIN Inc. for their 2K/M water proofing solution which allegedly de-laminates and/or disintegrates causing plaster fall into the pools. In 2012, AQUAFIN issued a technical report stating that it “does not recommend the use of AQUAFIN-2K/M in conjunction with pool plasters that have not been tested for compatibility.” AQUAFIN, however, marketed and sold the 2K/M product to pool builders and contractors prior to releasing the technical report.
