Bank/Credit Union Overdraft Fees Class Action Investigation
Investigating a class action on behalf of consumers who have been charged overdraft fees by their bank or credit union. It is alleged that banks and credit unions do not post debit card transactions to consumer accounts in the order in which they actually occur. Many bank and credit unions engages in the deceptive practice of re-ordering the posting of debit transactions from the highest amount to the lowest amount to maximize overdraft fees.
