CarMax Vehicle Sales with Open Recalls Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf individuals who purchased vehicles from CarMax whose vehicles had an open recall at the time of sale. CarMax has stores nationwide and says it sold about 527,000 used cars in the 12-month period that ended on Feb. 28. It is alleged that CarMax advertises that prior to sale its vehicles have passed a “rigorous 125-point” inspection.
