Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep Oil Consumption Class Action Investigation

Investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep owners and lessees with vehicles prone to excessive engine oil consumption.  Certain Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models may contain defective piston rings in the engine causing excessive oil consumption.  This design defect may be denied warranty coverage by the manufacturer and result in some owners having to pay for costly repairs to the engine.  Chrysler may even relay to customers that the excessive oil consumption is considered normal.  The below models are just some of the vehicles that may be prone to excessive engine oil consumption:
  • 2012-2013 Dodge Ram Trucks (1500, 2500 and 3500 non-diesel)
  • 2012-2013 Dodge Journey
  • 2012-2013 Jeep Wrangler
  • 2012 Jeep Liberty
  • 2012-2013 Dodge Challenger, Charger and 300
  • 2013 Dodge Dart and Caliber
  • 2012-2013 Dodge Town & Country/Grand Caravan
  • 2012-2013 Dodge Durango
If you or someone you know has purchased or leased a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep and has experienced excessive oil consumption not honored by the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact us.
