Kia Optima and Sorento Engine Failure – Class Action Investigation
Investigating a class action lawsuit against Kia for alleged premature engine failure in certain Kia Optima and Sorento vehicles. It is alleged that these models may contain a defect predisposing the engines to experience engine bearing failure, overheating, oil consumption, piston ring land failure and/or connecting rod knock. As a result, these issues lead to catastrophic engine failure along with safety issues and costly repairs. Unfortunately, Kia often declines to repair and/or replace the defective engines under warranty.
