Salt River Project Class Action Investigation
Investigating a class action on behalf of Salt River Project (SRP) customers who incurred a $3 increase on their monthly basic service charge. The SRP serves as an electrical utility for the Phoenix metro area and the primary water provider for much of central Arizona. It is alleged that the SRP’s board of directors did not follow proper procedures to approve the rate increase. The April 2015 bills included an increase in the basic service charge to $20 from $17.
